We all know life can be quite hectic which is why fashion is something we`ll most likely try to put in the back of our minds. Most of the time, because I am often sick, I don`t have the time to do a lot of things since I spend the majority of my time trying to rest and heal. During the times I`m up without any illness, I try to do as much as I can.
During the past few months, I`ve been feeling much better compared to the last 4-5 years. With this, I had been more enthused to try to look more presentable. I`ve realized that looking presentable will give me an added boost of confidence because I have the knowledge that I`ve tried my best to put myself together and used clothes to represent a part of me. Regardless of whether I`m sick or well, tired or happy, it doesn`t mean I have to look like a slug. I can still look pleasing and presentable yet very comfortable with the right items. For this post, I compiled three comfortable outfits including items I might need in my closet to look more pleasing and stylish despite the possibly hectic schedule.
1.) Girl On-The-Go
The "Girl On-The-Go" outfit is for us ladies who are often active and busy running around for everyday errands. The pieces are quite simple yet awesome for daily activities.
Since it had been quite cold lately, the black beanie and white long-sleeve cropped sweatshirt will keep us warm. The high-waist pants complement the cropped shirt and won`t show much of our skin. The platform shoes have 0.75 - 1.50" heel height which is great for someone like me who`s on the shorter height range. The bag is great because it can be carried on the back which lessens the hassle of having to carry something through the hands or arms. It`s quite small which will allow us to only carry items that are really necessary therefore forcing us to carry a more lightweight load. The black watch with a silver bezel will help us keep track of the time.
2.) The Modern Chic

Nowadays, there are many events any individual can attend. For this outfit, I created "The Modern Chic" for us ladies who are often interested in attending events specifically for women or bloggers.
This outfit can be casual or semi-formal. If the event is more semi-formal, instead of wearing a cardigan, a light blazer will help transform the overall look. The white dress has an a-line silhouette which will complement almost any body type. This dress along with the elastic gold belt will accentuate the waist. The shoes have around 2" heel height which will give additional leverage to those who are quite short. A gray or beige pointed shoe with heels can also work with this outfit especially if we`re going to a more semi-formal event. The cat-shaped bag is quite small yet very cute. A small clutch is an alternative for a semi-formal event. The silver watch complements and completes the look.
Since black or monochromatic outfits can sometimes make a lady look older or cold, the gold and brown touches in this outfit give it an overall lighter and friendlier vibe which is good for social events.
3.) That Lady in the Coffee and Tea Shop

This outfit was created with activities like meeting with friends, going to a tea or coffee shop, spending time at the mall, and going to the movies in mind. It`s monochromatic, simple, and casually stylish.
The top is simple but the bow at the bottom gives it a cute look. Since the top seems quite short, high-waist pants will complement it. The pearl necklace and white watch with glittery-like dial will give a little boost of glitziness to the almost all-black outfit. The black shoes have about 2" of heel height which will complement the black high-waist pants. The black high-waist pants and shoes will give an illusion of longer legs. The white bag will help the pearl necklace and watch against the black pieces.
These 3 outfits have very versatile pieces perfect for the modern lady. The "Girl On-the-Go" is a comfortably and casually stylish outfit for everyday activities. "The Modern Chic" is a beautiful outfit for casual or semi-formal events. "That Lady in the Tea Shop" is a sweet yet versatile ensemble great for casual and social occasions. All in all, these outfits are great because they`re simple, comfortable, and wearable.
