June 2020: Purely Pastel Weekly Planner Spreads. ft. "The Universe is in Me" Belle De Jour Power Planner

Hello, everyone! 

The start of the month of June has been a blessing for me because I started working again. Hence, I became more inspired and motivated to design and make the most out of my planner. Ever since I was a young girl, creative planning and journaling has always helped me cope with the good and the bad which is why I`m absolutely cheerful that I`m back and doing this more actively again. I wanted my days to be more lighthearted, positive and sweet so I chose pastel pink, purple and blue in most of my weekly planner spreads.

This is such a cute planner spread. I specially love the "Just a note" cut out. I`m just using the box of crafts I received from a good friend who had to declutter because she was going abroad (Thank you, Yani!). The little flags of "to-do," "work," and "to buy" are adorable. I absolutely love finding these in the craft box and using them on my planner spreads.

2017 is coming to a close end. This year, I was able to try decorating my weekly planner spreads more. It was fun even though it took some time before I was able to actually jot down my activities and plans for the week.

I also made a post, "My 5 Planning Tools for Daily, Weekly and Monthly Planner Spreads" about the top planning tools or materials I often use whenever I decorate or plan my weekly planner spreads. You may read it for more details as I included in that post the majority of the things I used in the weekly planner spreads below. As far as I can accurately remember, I didn`t spend any money in designing my planner spreads since I`ve had so many leftover art and decorative materials since I was in elementary. I simply used available items I had at home.

Planning is a very helpful way to organize life`s activities and happenings. It allows for better mental and physical preparation. Planning, organizing and preparing with a planner has been commonly known to make events easier to manage and track. Along with that are several tools that keep the written and journaled life happenings more convenient, fun and motivating to read, understand and act upon. Such tools aren`t exactly necessary but rather add-ons to keep one`s planner visually pleasing, interesting, enjoyable and easy to follow. Decorative accessories and items for the planner tend to seem an unnecessary extra expense. However, there are other ways to keep daily, weekly and monthly plans organized, easy-to-read and visually pleasing without spending much money.

A Closer Look: 2016 Belle De Jour Power Planner | Mid-Year Review

As you can tell, I chose to use one of the "most talked" about planners in the Philippines, the 2016 Belle De Jour Power Planner. I was hesitant to get this because it was quite difficult to decide whether this planner is worth the price or not, but after a long deliberation, I finally bought one for this year. Most of my yearly planners only cost more or less than Php 100.00 (approx. USD 2.50) so it was quite a stretch to buy a planner about 6 times the price of my usual planner.
